Special Programs of Community Thread
Annual Service Event
Community Thread holds a service day - the Spring Into Service Event - on the first Saturday of May each year. The event is a great way to get involved in your community without having to make a long-term commitment. The Spring Into Service Event is free and open to the public, and we encourage volunteers of all types to sign up - families, co-workers, youth, church groups, etc. Mark your calendars and look for more information on next year's event around the first of the year!
Rake a Difference Day
Rake a Difference Day takes place in conjunction with the national Make a Difference Day in October of each year. The 2010 Rake a Difference Day will be on Saturday, October 23rd. Look for more information to be posted in mid-August.
