Need a Ride?
If you are a Washington County resident and have no other means of transportation to a medical appointment, call the Community Thread Transportation Program office, (651) 439-7434. Medical Assistance (MA) clients should call MNET at 1-866-467-1724. We are unable to transport people who use wheelchairs. Clients of Washington County Community Services need to request a ride through their case manager.
The transportation office requires a minimum of three full business days advance notice for a request to be processed. Ride requests are accepted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 9 am to 1 pm. The office is closed evenings, weekends and major holidays.
Our volunteer Office Assistants work to fill the request, notify you when a driver has been scheduled and verify the date and time. If a driver cannot be found, you will be notified 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel a scheduled ride, call (651) 439-7434 as soon as possible. Voluntary donations are accepted to help provide financial support for the program.
