Kowalski's Groceries for Good Causes
Kowalski's Grocery Store (5801 Neal Avenue North) has a community giving program called "Groceries for Good Causes" where a portion of the profits each quarter are given to area non-profit organizations. Shoppers at Kowalski's may leave their cash register receipt in the cubby assigned to their favorite non-profit, located near the main exit doors. The more receipts shoppers leave in the Community Thread cubby, the more money Kowalski's donates to Community Thread! The name on the cubby for Community Thread is "Stillwater Area Senior Centers." Please be sure to shop often and leave your receipt in the Senior Center cubby! If you have any questions about how the program works, ask a staff person at Community Thread.
