For over 40 years Community Thread has been providing a little bit of help during the holidays through its Holiday Bureau program.
We register those in need- families, persons with disabilities, and low-income seniors and recruit sponsors to provide a unique community connection, a happy holiday filled with individually chosen gifts, and a holiday meal.
Participants: Are you a family, person with a disability or a low-income senior who could use some help over the holiday season? Come to a registration day in November and get connected with a sponsor.
Sponsors: Are you able to provide gifts, a meal and friendship to a family or individual in need over the holiday season? Consider becoming a sponsor. Application information will be available in November.
Volunteers: Would you like to assist with the Holiday Bureau program? A wide variety of volunteer activities are available. Check back in November to learn more.
